What You'll Do
The Admissions Counselor works as part of the PHPD Admissions team to fulfill the enrollment objectives set by the Dean for the school. This position reports to the Director of Admissions and is assigned a specific academic program portfolio, of which to recruit new and prospective students to the school.
Responsibilities include:
Process applications and communicate application status to applicants
Review and evaluate applications for admission within assigned caseload
Participate in the selection process and serves on selection committee
Conduct group information sessions for prospective students
Represent the university at college fairs; entails travel to assigned geographic recruitment territory
Coordinate specific recruitment initiatives, such as publications or social media strategy

Basic Requirements:
Knowledge and experience as typically acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree and up to 2 years of related experience as a student employee or professional in a secondary school or institution of higher education, sales or customer service transferable to recruiting students
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
Experience working in a higher education setting
Experience working in admissions or student recruiting
Pay Range
Minimum $46,700.00, Midpoint $58,450.00, Maximum $70,200.00
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
