The Associate Administrator, Transformation is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Transformation Office and serves as an important member of the leadership team charged with the growth and expansion of Keck Medicine of USC. In this capacity, this leader directs Due Diligence and Integration Planning activities for Keck Medicineâs strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships. They will interface with subject matter experts throughout the deal process, and in partnership with Health System and target organization leadership, will define integration strategies, goals, and metrics and be accountable to their execution. As a critical member of the deal team, the Administrator will lead the development and implementation of processes and structures that facilitate effective collaboration among internal cross-functional teams to ensure that the objectives of due diligence and integrations are met. In addition, this leader will manage the transition and integration of hospital and/or medical group departments to health system offices. Â
Additionally, this role will participate in the development and implementation of Keck Medicineâs Community Physician alignment initiatives including the build of a community medical group division and affiliate model. The incumbent will provide subject matter expertise and management to the transformation team supporting the office and is responsible for their recruitment, supervision, and training.
The Associate Administrator will also be responsible for the creation of health system operating budgets for the Offices of Compliance, Risk, Credentialing, Transformation and others as assigned. The Associate Administrator acts as an advisor to department leadership and is the business officer for these offices. This leader must be comfortable operating in a highly matrixed environment, demonstrate outstanding communication skills, and willingness to develop collaborative working relationships with providers and leaders across all levels of the health system, as well as with external partners
The salary range for this position is $191,360 - $315,744. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidateâs work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
Minimum Education:â¢Bachelors Degree in a related field required. â¢JD and/or MBA or other advanced degree required. Minimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢10 or more years of leadership experience in a complex, matrixed organizationâ¢Experience in execution of complex strategic initiatives (M&A, transformational initiatives, etc.), requiredâ¢Extensive business knowledge with comprehensive understanding of the organization and the healthcare industry.â¢Clinical integration, strategic initiative, and health system governance experience requiredâ¢Excellent data management and financial analysis skills requiredâ¢Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with a wide variety of constituents. Required License/Certification:â¢Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
