Job Description:
To provide initial and ongoing clinical assessment. To provide group and individual counseling, interventions and treatment planning to assist ARP patients with achieving and maintaining abstinence. To actively provide linkage to community resources as part of an on-going discharge planning.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Counseling, Mental Health, Social Work or related Human Services field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed as a(n) Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling (ABEC), currently licensed as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners or currently licensed as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Marriage and Family Therapy.
