The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the State University of New York at New Paltz seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Director, Campus Visit Experience who will report to the Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Coordinate all aspects of on-campus visits and events for prospective students, including daily tours, open houses, admitted student day, and ad-hoc recruitment events.
Assist in daily interactions with prospective students and families.
Arrange visits with special interest groups.
Hire, train, develop and manage New Paltz's Student Ambassador Program and Campus Recruitment Event Workers (CREW).
Coordinate all campus visits, tour schedules, and events in Slate CRM, including all pre and post-tour and event-related communication.
Coordinate coverage for information sessions, walk-in visitors, incoming calls/texts, and outbound recruitment and yield campaigns.
Assist in all aspects of admissions work including, but not limited to, the representation of SUNY New Paltz to wide and diverse audiences, and the evaluation of applicant credentials for admissions review.
General duties in support of operational needs as assigned by the Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree
1-2 years of applicable job experience in university admissions, advancement, or event planning.
Ability to work evenings and some weekends
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred:
Experience with CRM systems.
