Reporting to the Vice President of Student Affairs this position provides leadership, supervision, and motivation to the Division of Student Affairs with direct responsibility for Residence Life and Housing, Student Involvement and Commuter Engagement, and Community Standards.The Dean of Students will develop and implement strategic initiatives consistent with the College mission, vision and strategic plan as well as develop new programs, serve as a Title IX Deputy, co-chair the CARE team, serve as co-advisor to the Student Government Association, and align staffing and resources to accommodate the growth of additional programs and events. An ability to collaborate with campus partners and foster intentional relationships within the Colleges of the Fenway is instrumental to the success of this position.Demonstrated engagement and retention success with students and their families is essential. Highly effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to deliver information in a concise, and articulate manner to multiple stakeholder groups. Experience with crisis management, strong time management skills, and ability to implement ideas into action are critical for the success of this role.
