Our regional admissions coordinator will serve as a member of the Admissions team, focusing on recruiting prospective students in support of the College’s strategic plan. They will represent Penn College, both on and off campus, to prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors and other individuals and organizations involved in the college selection process. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies for the assigned geographic territory of southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware. While this position has limited on-campus responsibilities when needed, it is anticipated to be 90% remote. Should this role be needed for an on-campus responsibility, advance notice will be provided, and travel expenses covered in alignment with the College’s travel reimbursement policy. Person must reside within the Philadelphia area or be willing to relocate within a predetermined period of time.
Minimum education and experience:
Experience in college admissions preferred, or related professional experience in marketing/sales.
Minimum abilities and skills:
Developed organizational skills.
Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with prospective students, parents, secondary school personnel, College staff and the public.
Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
Sensitivity to the expectations of students, parents, and staff.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Ability to work remotely for extended periods of time.
Ability to build strong working relationships with diverse groups.
Evidence of strong written communication and presentation skills.

Solid technical skills including Microsoft Office.

Ability to conduct admissions activities with the highest level of integrity.
