CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Student Psychological Counselors (Non-Teaching Adjuncts) will be recruited to provide additional mental health services to Lehman students.
Provide direct MH services to students/clients; develop and implement specialized programming and services related to oppression, racial, immigration and related traumatic experiences; supervise clinical trainees.
Provide direct MH services to students/clients; develop and implement specialized programming and services related to bereavement and loss, especially related to pandemic impact, including loss of family and friends, job loss, life and social support disruptions; supervise clinical trainees.
Substance Use Harm Reduction
Provide direct MH services to students/clients; develop and implement specialized programming and services related to substance use (and other addictive, compulsive behavior) harm reduction; supervise clinical trainees.
Provide direct MH services to students/clients; assist in overseeing the treatment of and managing clients with the most serious clinical risk; developing programs to identify and address serious clinical risk; supervise clinical trainees.
Intentional ongoing Outreach
Provide direct MH services to students/clients; develop and implement specialized outreach programming and services related to at-risk group (BIPOC, LGBTQ, immigrant, ec.); supervise clinical trainees.
Bachelor's Degree required.
A Doctoral degree in Psychology to include Ph.D. and Psy.D. programs
A Master's degree in an appropriate discipline for personal or psychological counseling and a New York State license as a mental health practitioner (social work, psychology, or mental health counseling).
Experience and knowledge of student development and higher education systems
Excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Windows based programs and other computer programs
Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. $45.58-$56.71 per hour
