The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in this classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.

Mineta San José International Airport is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Analyst in the department’s Planning and Development (P&D) Division. The position of Senior Analyst in the P&D Division provides support to the diverse functions including Capital Project Delivery teams, Planning, Environmental Management and Geographic Information System (GIS) for the Airport Department.
The position responsibilities include:
-Lead and coordinate the project controls function for assigned Capital and Tenant projects and serve as a budgetary & technical advisor to Section Leads and Project Managers to maintain and achieve on time budget, project delivery, reporting and other performance objectives for the Division. -Implement systems and processes in developing, monitoring, tracking, analyzing capital project budget, costs, forecasts, and costs of personnel resources charged to project budgets. This role will be directly involved in the implementation and use of the project Management Information System in the delivery of projects and reporting.

Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, industrial engineering, safety or related field.
- Experience: Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in general management/administrative analytic work in the areas of personnel, budget, fiscal and/or organizational methods analyses including general staff analytical work.
One (1) year of additional education above the Bachelor’s Degree level may be substituted for one (1) year of the required management/administrative analytic work.
Required Licensing (such as driver’s license, certifications, etc.)
Possession of a valid State of California driver's license may be required for some assignments.
