The Sr. Athletic Academic Advisor for Football in SAAS will be responsible for monitoring academic eligibility and progress while providing academic support for assigned student-athletes in the sport of Football, advising student-athletes in terms of course selection and NCAA rules eligibility, certification, and progress towards degree. This position will also hold various administrative oversights and responsibilities.

Additional Duties include:

Monitoring study hall and tutorial areas as assigned, organize and implement recruiting efforts including coordinating with faculty, on-campus partners, and academic presentation.  Assist with the coordination of our Faculty Guest Coaches program.

Serving as a liaison between Undergraduate Studies, Athletic Department, faculty, Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, and other Academic Departments. Involved in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes which includes interaction with recruits and their families, coaches, guidance counselors, and alumni. Has occasional contact with the media and officials from the ACC and NCAA.

Bachelors degree and four years of related experience or a combination of post high school education. Master's Preferred.
