Waterfall Club desires to be “an exclusive playground for its members and their guests”. The club assets are owned by a small private group of investors, most of which are members and have homes in and around Lake Burton. Membership is a non-equity scenario and annual full membership dues are roughly $10,000. The clubhouses, golf course, and maintenance facility are located within a gated community with 210 lots and approximately 50 single family homes, mostly second and vacation homes. Most members have homes on or around Lake Burton and roughly 25% are considered full time residents of the community or lake.
