The College is seeking an Executive Director of Enrollment Management who will be a key member of the Enrollment Management division leadership team. This position provides the strategic direction and leadership for the College's new student recruitment efforts and will oversee the Office of Admission, as well as Enrollment Services (Student Financial Services and the College Registrar). This position will serve as a collaborative partner with other departments in retention efforts to ensure the College maximizes enrollment and improves graduation rates in accordance with the mission, vision and core values of the institution. This position also provides leadership to ensure integrity and adherence to regulations and policy regarding student records management. The Executive Director will work closely with Institutional Research and the Administration and Finance team to ensure budgetary goals, as related to new student recruitment efforts, while setting a vision for strategic institutional aid awarding. The Executive director will also work in concert with the Division of Graduate and Continuing Education to secure degree pathways for post traditional students.
Essential Functions:
Oversight of new student recruitment and aid awarding
Develop and implement annually, recruitment and admission goals and strategies for the College that ensure comprehensive and effective efforts; including local, national and international prospective students.
Develop and set strategy related to visit programming including but not limited to open house, daily visits, off-campus receptions, scholarship events, etc.
Provide and implement strategy for prospective student outreach and follow-up for feeder schools and community based organizations; design and implement a tracking and evaluation system utilizing the Admissions CRM to evaluate the progress of students from their recruitment through enrollment.
Work strategically with Marketing to ensure the development of engaging recruitment, outreach, and other related materials and messages including undergraduate/graduate enrollment marketing strategy: print, email, social media content and other mediums.
Analyze internal and external recruitment, admission, and retention market data to adjust quickly to changing College and enrollment needs and trends.
Provide strategic vision and oversight for awarding of institutional aid to ensure budgetary and College retention objectives
Determine admissions policies and procedures that remain compliant under all legal regulations and accreditation guidelines including the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education. Ensure admissions policies/procedures are within National Association for College Admissions Counselors "good practices" guidelines
Oversee MCLA's efforts and obligations to the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education Transfer Pathways initiatives.
Oversee the management of the Admissions department budget and provide guidance for other Enrollment Services operating budgets
Collaborate closely with the Director of Athletics for strategies related to athletic recruitment
Liaise with the Division of Graduate and Continuing Education to ensure continuity of recruitment efforts and pathways for degree completion.
Attends college recruiting and other events as requested
Oversight of Enrollment Services (institutional records and student financial services)
Responsible for the leadership and comprehensive operations and management of the college's student academic record-keeping and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services,
Oversee quality controls, and promoting effective management of student academic records to ensure accurate records and comply with all auditing procedures.
Promote a deep understanding and adherence to all practices embodied by the Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers as it pertains to records management and the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators as it pertains to all aid awarding.
Provides guidance on all issues related to records management and FERPA.
Work closely with the Director of Student Financial Services/Interim Director of Student Records to maintain professionalism and compliance with all federal and state reporting as it pertains to student records and financial aid awarding.
Strategic and visionary leadership in the division
Ensure a sophisticated data analytics strategy and approach that informs strategic and operational decision making for student admission, retention, and student success, toward the object of continuing to attract and retain high potential and high achieving students.
Partner with IT resources to utilize emerging technologies and adapt an enterprise system to be used across MCLA's enrollment functions
Create a student-oriented approach to all transaction oriented offices in the Enrollment Division
Provide leadership, guidance and coordinate training to admissions staff in recruitment efforts and Enrollment Services staff for student-centered practices.
Embodies daily a high level of cultural competence and values, ethics, and principles that align with the MCLA's mission, in which every voice is valued and respected and where a diverse, inclusive, work and learning environment is essential
Create reports and make recommendations as needed to the President and President's Cabinet regarding all recruitment activities and strategies.
Advise, create reports and make presentations to, the Enrollment Management Committee and Board of Trustees as requested by the VP for Strategic Initiatives and the President.
Manages high-level assignments and allocation of enrollment management resources, including negotiating and coordinating initiatives that involve staff in other departments/areas/teams; may coordinate large-scale enrollment management projects with a wide audiences in support of academic initiatives.
Works closely with colleagues across divisions to ensure appropriate rollout of new programs in Academic Affairs and Athletics (e.g. Nursing, hockey, etc.)
Researches and stays up-to-date on new industry enrollment management standards, technologies, policies, and procedures; responsible for the implementation of new protocols/procedures to address business needs
Serve on college-wide committees as requested.
Contributes to preparation of internal, state and federal government reports as required.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, masters degree preferred.
At least 10 ten years of progressive experience in admissions/enrollment management, with demonstrated capacity for strategic leadership and vision of new student recruiting practices and understanding of a student-centered enrollment services functions.
A track record of success in achieving institutional enrollment goals, including recruiting diverse, student bodies;
Experience managing multiple program offerings and implementing best practices to address national enrollment trends and the changing landscape of higher education;
Experience advancing new enrollment processes, systems, and technologies by collaborating across functions and with other campuses or programs;
Success employing outcomes and metrics-based, creative marketing strategies to achieve enrollment goals;
Expertise in effectively implementing and managing technology and systems (such as predictive modeling) to capture and support data-driven enrollment, admissions, and aid decisions; and experience managing budgets, including the ability to prioritize and allocate resources.
Ability to implement change with direct reports while collaborating with strategic partners in other areas toward a broad, strategic mandate;
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and a nimble, flexible, adaptable, working style; and
Excellent leadership abilities and the judgment and confidence to successfully make and implement decisions.
Solid skills in Microsoft Office applications, database management, and electronic mail
