The successful candidate will be a member of the World Languages department and will be expected to teach a range of Spanish courses from Levels I-AP. RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic teacher, a skilled user of technology and interactive pedagogy, an eager participant and collaborator in school life, as well as an educator committed to fostering positive relationships for learning and dedicated to our core principles of character, educational vigor, diversity, and community.

The teaching load will be five sections drawn from a range of World Language courses. In addition to becoming a member of our World Language department, the successful candidate will serve as an advisor to a group of 8-10 advisees and take on additional responsibilities such as advising a club or serving on a committee.

QUALIFICATIONS   

•     A bachelor’s degree in Spanish is required, and a Master's degree preferred.
•     Multilingual skills are not required but are preferred.
•     Ideal candidates will have at least three years of secondary school teaching experience.
