Registrar and College Counseling Associate

Start Date: July 2022

Randolph School is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as Registrar and College Counseling Associate. The Registrar and College Counseling Associate maintains, and processes student records while providing support to the Director and Associate Director of College Counseling. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, technologically proficient, and an effective oral and written communicator.

The ideal candidate will have an appreciation and respect for high school-aged students, through challenging and joyful moments alike. The candidate will have an appreciation and understanding of the needs of students in a challenging academic independent school environment.

 The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following essential duties:

• Maintain all data in the college counseling program (Naviance), to include standardized test scores from College Board (SAT/AP) and ACT.
• Process all college application documents using Naviance. Prepares and or assists with secondary counselor recommendation forms, school, and student profiles.
• Schedules and publicizes appointments with visiting college representatives through RepVisits.
• Assist with college counseling communication to students and parents including a Weekly Bulletin for juniors, seniors, parents, and advisors.
• Coordinate all College Board testing at Randolph to include school day pre-ACT/PSAT and SAT weekend exams.
• Assists with special college counseling programming, receptions, and events.

• Track college admissions decisions and help with annual College Counseling reporting.
• Oversee the annual Upper School Awards Day ceremony.
• Assist with upper school scheduling in Veracross.
• Process final transcripts for graduates to colleges and processes all alumni transcript requests from Parchment.
• Coordinate the ordering of diplomas, graduation caps, gowns, announcements, and class rings.
• Establish and foster ongoing relationships with families. Acts as liaison between families and school.

Working in a rigorous, college preparatory program at the secondary level and an enthusiastic desire to contribute to co-curricular activities, especially in athletics and/or the arts will be given additional consideration.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree 
• Prior experience working in a school setting 
• Proficient use of technology including use of Veracross, Naviance, and Parchment
