Summary Description: The Associate Director of Admission is a full-time, benefit eligible position reporting to the Dean of Admission. This role serves as second in command for the Admissions office. He/she provides day to day supervision for the Admission Counselors/staff. This position manages recruitment, outreach and engagement to achieve new student enrollment goals for the University at large. The Associate Director will be responsibility for setting recruitment targets by territories through building critical relationships and partnerships with external constituents that would lead to pipeline development. The Associate Director will serve as a thought partner to the Dean of Admissions.
Primary Job Duties:
Manage the day to day operations of Admission staff and operational procedures and processes.
Coordinate and assist in training of all Admission Team members.
Recruits, selects, trains, and manages admission staff student workers.
Review admission application files, evaluate credentials, and admit students to the University.
Serve as Designated Signing Officer for International students.
Exercise discretion and independent judgment regarding recruitment strategies for assigned territories, student contacts, and student relationship development to meet enrollment goals.
Coordinate and evaluate admissions events and strategies including program effectiveness, assess outcomes, determine cost analyses, and develop improved programming to achieve enrollment goals.
Advise students and families of admission requirements, transfer guidelines, financial aid and scholarship information, student standards and lifestyle agreement, residence life, etc.
Serve as University representative at various recruitment events.
Serve as admissions university liaison to territorial high schools, universities, churches, and para-church organizations accurately and positively representing the University in its mission, vision, and values.
Collaborate with other Enrollment Managers and CRM Administrator to implement a potent marketing and communication plan.
Abide by NACAC and NACCAP Principles of Good Practice
Contribute to the support and implementation of the University Strategic Enrollment Plan.
Participate in Warner Pacific University professional development opportunities.
Adhere to University policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned Dean of Admissions and or V.P of Enrollment Management.
Bachelor degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a Leadership role in Admissions, Retention or Advisement.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively solve problems and initiate and implement projects independently.
Ability to adapt, multi-task with accuracy, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adapt and work effectively in a varied-paced or fast-paced environment.
Ability to work longer hours during busier recruitment/admissions periods.
Excellent self-motivation, written communication skills, and the ability to work well with faculty, staff, and students.
Skill in effective oral communication and public presentations.
Proficient in computer programs including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel, and the Internet.
Experience working with diverse populations.
Master degree in Higher Education, Student Services, or equivalent.
Experience serving in a leadership capacity in an admissions and/or retention role.
