This position is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions of the IGT Instants (PPLC) business unit to include month-end close, account reconciliations, job costing, licensed property / royalty accounting and inventory management.
Maintaining the integrity of the data within the manufacturing / cost accounting system (Prism and SAP after system conversion).
Review and reconcile the Sales Log to SAP and ensure all Sales Log entries tie to supporting documents, including working papers, job cost reports, inventory usage reports, and invoices.
Daily management of the finance staff, coaching, directing, developing and cross training team members.
Oversee month-end close, including reviewing and approving all job costing journal entries, costing reports by job and reconciling inventory valuations, direct materials pricing adjustments, and receipts/usage/physical counts.
Ensure that proper controls are in place and followed while working with operations managers to ensure all departments are trained on control requirements and potential impacts of failures.
Oversee all invoicing and accounts receivable aging, following up on collections of past due invoices as required. Review and approve all sales orders and invoices and coordinate all new customer and cost center additions.
Ensure reconciliations are completed for each month with proper supporting documentation, resolve any outstanding reconciling items and propose balance sheet adjustments as required.
Work with Marketing and Brand Licensing to maintain Licensed Property schedules of invoicing, deferred revenue, accruals, and a forecast calendar to ensure all contracts are properly reported and reviewed by technical accounting as required for proper accounting treatment.
Prepare all Licensed Property royalty reports and submit payment requests to comply with contract dates.
Work with Marketing and / or external tax advisors to process all tax filings and payments related to 2nd chance promotion prizes paid.
Approve requisitions or invoices as required and work with AP to facilitate expedited vendor payments or add/change requests. Assist with other vendor inquiries as needed.
Maintain asset listings for all fixed assets to corporate systems - adds and deletions. Complete monthly fixed asset/capital reporting and route capital request forms as required for approvals.
Maintain all open capital projects budgets and detail spend, monitoring projects for expected in service date also.
Maintain detailed schedule of contract assets and deferred revenue along with schedules for each jurisdiction with live games invoiced on % of Sale monthly. Prepare all related monthly journal entries.
Prepare detailed schedules for sales, costs, and profitability of all active games of Intercompany customers to maintain monthly reporting.
Complete reconciliation of operating cost absorption at month end and calculate absorption adjustment allocation.
Maintains Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) critical to internal and external audit control activities.
Respond to inquiries and provide requested documents related to internal and external audits.

Qualifications
Education Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field of study
Experience Required
3+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role
1-2 years of experience in manufacturing industry or related business
1-2 years of experience in a lead or supervisor role within accounting or finance
Skills Required
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Cost accounting or project-based accounting software experience
Month-end close activities, journal entry preparation/ review

Preferred Education, Experience or Skills
SAP software experience operating within manufacturing
Master's Degree a plus, but not required
