Provides leadership in the evaluation of strategic objectives, formulation of strategic direction, and influences / supports decision making based on assessment of business trends and data analytics. Plans, organizes, and develops analyses / assessments grounded in deep understanding of the business, industry & market trends, consumer behavior, customer segments, and competitive strategy. Predicts changes in the current market and summarizes insights from proprietary and third-party data & information to create distinctive insights.
Develops and implements business analyses, manages business case development, and business-at-risk assessments. Develops strategic frameworks and manages processes to build business scenarios. Provides a point of view on key strategic issues across major dimensions of the business - competitive activity, operations, customer segments, technology etc. Manages ongoing discussions with peer partners in other internal work groups including peers in international regions on identified priorities supported with clear fact based recommendations. Participates in cross-functional meetings and provides insight / guidance to peers / Managers / Directors in partner teams. Interfaces with areas across the enterprise to discuss changes impacted by strategic recommendations.

- Responsibility for commercial outcomes across a broad range of segments, capabilities and third parties
- Identify and influence opportunities with key stakeholders, which support business strategic priorities, evaluate the benefits, and work with all cross-functional areas of the company to execute
- Providing financial and business analysis that will form the foundation for strategy, partnership strategic rationale, target selection and deal justification
- Developing short, medium, and long-term plans based on our strategy and partnership objectives and work cross functionally with marketing, product, engineering, legal, sales and customer success teams to achieve our goals
- Responsibility for business results, making recommendations for improvements at all opportunities
- Support regular interactions between partnership teams and senior leaders
- Support partner management to ensure partnership success and growth
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Desired Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:- Track record as an exceptional driver of commercial results in either a product management or business development role, preferably directly related to e-Commerce
- Strong strategic thinker with a background in e-Commerce Strategy or Consulting
- Hands on e-Commerce experience
- Superior team leadership skills
- Experience of supporting senior leaders across a broad range of functions and roles.
- Impressive story teller to influence senior leaders and instill confidence
- Experience in dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment across multiple time zones and cultures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and a polished presenter
- Motivated and a hands-on team player, persistent, and results oriented
- Experience with SaaS, technology solutions and services a plus
Week in the life...As an example, during a week on the job the successful candidate may perform the following activities:- Develop a strategic point of view for executive leadership, and present to the CEO of Dataworks
- Coordinate and lead a meeting with an existing strategic partner to discuss further engagement
- Engage product teams to outline a value prop roadmap and identify opportunities to connect third parties
- Negotiate a contract with a prospective partner and the legal team
- Present a proposal to the SVP of e-commerce at a prospective partner
- Provide analytical and strategic support for a business case
- Develop a research proposal and advocate for prioritization/funding
Minimum Qualifications:A Master's degree in a quantitative business field or closely related technical specialized field of study with four (4) years related work experience. Or a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative business field or closely related technical specialized field of study with six (6) years related work experience. Work experience in functions focused on strategy development, competitive, customer, and industry analysis, market research, analysis of product performance, and support of corporate development / strategic value assessment activities. Demonstrated business acumen and experience of supporting strategic assessments that are transformational in nature including understanding the impact of technology trends on business. Strong communication and presentation skills, problem structuring & problem solving skills. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience in databases, Business Intelligence tools, MS Office products and data modeling. Strong human relations skills. An advanced degree may offset experience requirements.
