The Crefeld School's mission is to graduate self aware, empathetic, lifelong learners, who possess an appreciation for diverse perspectives, their role in society, and their ability to act as agents of change. Located in Chestnut Hill, Crefeld provides an intentionally different college preparatory program to help students become their best selves. 

The Crefeld School, serving 100 students in grades seven through twelve, is seeking a Dean of Faculty & Curriculum Coordinator. The Dean reports directly to the Head of School; serves on the administrative leadership team; supervises teaching staff and coordinates curriculum across disciplines. In addition, the Dean collaborates with various school teams in the areas of hiring and program development; they on-board and work in a close coaching capacity with new teachers. The Dean promotes a culture that highly values professional development and models lifelong learning. Other duties include working on the system of coverage, hiring substitute teachers, and coordinating staff in-services. This is a 12-month administrative position; appointment begins August 1, 2022.

Requirements include: proven experience working in a rigorous academic environment; a graduate degree (preferred) in an appropriate discipline; demonstrated skill and interest in using technology to enhance teaching and learning; ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies; outstanding verbal and written communication skills; deep support for the school's mission; and an unrelenting love of learning.
