The Education Program Manager has overall responsibility for the administration of the subspecialty training program(s) in Hematology MSKUS/POCUS program(s) This position is responsible for managing multiple high visibility, cross functional projects to help successfully launch key strategic program initiatives with the ability to identify, interpret and apply appropriate policies and procedures to complex systems and to provide clear and concise instructions. Coordinates program operations which include teaching and learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, maintaining databases, tracking learner compliance and program accreditation. Demonstrated experience with online course offering management, website maintenance tools, programmatic educational course development and management of accreditation requirements.
Responsible for organizing, directing, coordinating and administering resources and systems in consultation with various stakeholders including Division Faculty, Division Administrators, School of Medicine Departments, Financial Managers, and all other Department and Division units and other medical organizations to assure overall control of educational and fellowship programs. Manages all components of the Department's fellowship and educational programs in compliance with University policy and other regulatory requirements. Prepares reports and follows up as necessary. At the direction of program faculty and leadership, creates learner assessment documentation including assessment tools and assessment strategies/timelines.
Applies acquired skills, process, and policy knowledge to support professional health education program learners. Coordinates program operations, which include teaching and learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, maintaining databases, tracking learner compliance, and program accreditation.
Six (6) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus two (2) years of related experience/training
Two (2+) or more years of relevant experience.

Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and other office tools.

Thorough knowledge and experience with principles and methods to independently perform the full range of professional educational program work. Solid background in institutional program operations, with comprehensive program initiatives knowledge.
