Equitable Advisors is currently looking for a Senior Manager, Business Intelligence team member in Charlotte, NC. Remote candidates will be considered as well.
As a member of the Sales Engagement & Strategy team, the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence collaborates with sales leaders, Salesforce Administrations, and IT Teams. This individual will establish reporting standards in Salesforce to leverage sales data and insights to drive sales growth and wholesaler efficiency for our Individual Retirement & Group Retirement sales organization. You will be an integral member of this team. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to understand business requirements and processes and translate these into innovative reporting solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identify, design, and implement new Tableau & Tableau CRM dashboards, reports, and data flows inside Salesforce.
Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce Tableau CRM platform (i.e. Next Best Action, Next Best Question, correlation between Activity & Sales).
Advocate and strategize ways for Internal Wholesalers & External Wholesalers to move more productively and efficiently to have more time focused on selling.
Collaborate with IT and Data Science teams to align on data standards and principles.
Prioritize and Modify dashboards and reports (incl. Daily Sales Report) based on provided user feedback.
Partner with data and analytics experts to strive for enabling optimal efficiency.
Examine data discrepancies and resolve dashboard data issues.
Provide meaningful changes and automation opportunities for monthly & quarterly reports.
Co-lead the Salesforce transformation, encourage adoption, and deliver training.
Define "Next Best Action" model for recommendations.
Support wholesalers virtually, in person, and via ride-alongs with best practices on how to leverage technology effectively.
B.S. or equivalent degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or other relevant fields.
3+ years of data analysis or metrics reporting experience.
2+ years full-time experience with supporting sales.
2+ years full-time experience with Tableau.
Experience with Tableau Server or Online preferred.
Experience with Salesforce a plus.
Experience with Tableau Prep and/or Tableau Prep Conductor a plus.
Experience or equivalent coursework using statistics for data analysis a plus.
Strong understanding of SQL and basic understanding of programming languages; experience with Python, or R a plus.
Verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
Understanding of broader IR & GR systems as well as engineering concepts including data structures, data modeling, database schemas.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Learn quickly - ability to understand and rapidly comprehend new areas, functional and technical, and apply detailed and critical thinking to customer solutions.
