This is a time-limited position and is funded through March 30, 2025. Â Provides support to the McKelvey Registrar staff members as the university transitions the existing student information system to WorkDay Student. Â Ensures the integrity and confidentiality of student and institutional records and FERPA compliance.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
General student records support such as data entry and reviews in SISAdmin and WUCRSL, registration changes, advisor assignments, processing of special grade reports, mass mailings, degree audit exceptions, proof reading of publications, and so on. Â
Provides documentation management for McKelvey Registrar staff. Manages and distributes McKelvey Registrar production tasks. As needed attends meetings in place of Registrar staff. Â
Manages McKelvey Registrar email box and calendar. Manages McKelvey Registrar related webpages including the McKelvey academic calendar. Â
Manages the intake of all official transcripts. Coordinates the scanning/review of transcripts by both undergraduate and graduate student services staff. Manages the transcript hold process for all Masterâ™s and Doctoral students. Â
Manages the scanning of all documentation. Coordinates the scanning of all verification, conduct, absence, and similar documentation by both undergraduate and graduate student services staff. Acts as the primary point of contact for the McKelvey document scanning system. Â
Serves as primary point of contact for faculty, students, staff and external entities requesting degree and/or enrollment verification. Drafts formal verification documents. Â
Coordinates online trainings for matriculating students, assistants in instruction, etc. Oversees the lifting of associated holds. Â
Assists with events such an orientation, commencement and the schoolâ™s recognition ceremony.Â
Performs other duties as assigned.Â
Bachelorâ™s degree and two plus years related experience working with student records. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access, Word, and Teams. Experience with university systems such as SISAdmin, and WUCRSL. Â
Ability to understand, interpret and apply complex regulations, policies and procedures.
Effective communication skills with a variety of constituencies.
Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve.
Ability to work reliably and efficiently and ability to maintain confidentiality.

$21.60 - $33.45 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
