Work you'll do
As a Consultant within our Finance & Enterprise Performance Offering, you will:
Serve as the functional point of contact for day-to-day budget / financial issues
Prepare budget formulation materials and spend plans
Integrate data across multiple systems / organizations and analyze financial performance and prepare managerial reports
Prepare financial and managerial reports that provide robust explanations of trends / variances and brief executives on results and/or recommendations
Provide advice, assistance, and guidance on budgetary matters; conduct periodic special studies and budget deep dives
Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and develop innovative approaches to completing scope of work
Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports
Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
Assist in proposal development, as requested
Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients
Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues
Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
Provides coaching to junior staff
Contributes to new business proposals and proposal development
Manages own personal and professional development; seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experience

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other business-related field
1+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience in financial analysis, budget, activity based costing
Ability to obtain and maintain the required Security Clearance for this role
Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
CDFM or CGFM certification
Financial analysis and management reporting experience
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, VBA, lookups)
