What does a great Business Intelligence Advisor, Enterprise Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery do?
A great Business Intelligence Advisor will deliver on data and information strategy that results in the improvement to the Enterprise Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (EBCDR) program. You will be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to define, develop and implement business intelligence for the benefit of Fiserv business units globally to manage disruption risk. This role will take lead in the compilation of EBCDR Key Performance / Risk Indicators leveraged for governance, regulatory review and incidents. Support implementation of system enhancements to the EBCDR platform while providing guidance through business analytics to ensure accurate and improved data capture strategy.
As a Business Intelligence Advisor, Enterprise Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery, you can expect to:
Develop an intimate understanding of data and interrelationships that support the program
Enhance governance and oversight of all EBCDR datasets
Develop effective methodology for new data integration; enhance existing data capture methodology to limit human error and maximize automation
Lead implementation and maintenance of data feeds to other corporate information sources
Create information visualization for internal/external teams to provide actionable data-driven insight
Mature EBCDR Reporting including automation and publication to external stakeholders
Basic qualifications for consideration:
5+ years of related experience in an analytical position.
Possess knowledge of all technologies relevant to responsibilities, with a strong understanding of relational databases and reporting technology such as Microsoft BI or similar data analytics platforms
Classified as a subject matter expert of analytics, data science, business intelligence, business resiliency / disaster recovery concepts and methodology, along with payments industry best practices
Project management experience with maintaining detailed project plans and documentation
Experience with technology lifecycle in developing, testing, and deploying technical changes
A mind for process, a passion for data, attention to detail, and a willingness to take on tough challenges
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate with a broad range of constituencies, including senior executives
Strong analytical framework and advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) skills required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience focus on Data Science
