The Strategic Accounts Team plays a unique role that is based around the core responsibility of servicing and selling to PIMCO's largest intermediary clients (i.e. national and regional broker-dealers, banks, platforms, etc.). The individuals that make up this team work in a collaborative manner to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to clients.
Individuals on the Strategic Accounts Account Associate team serve a critical and dynamic role, working within the broader Strategic Accounts group to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to clients. The primary responsibilities for this role will involve working alongside the account managers that oversee PIMCOs Models and SMA business and will focus on supporting the existing business in a variety of capacities (client servicing, internal business reporting, etc.), while also participating in new growth and product development initiatives. In addition to these client servicing and business management responsibilities, many members of the group participate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program through the CFA Institute, CIMA, CAIA or other relevant financial designation.
