The McKesson Operations team is looking for a Change Leadership Senior Manager to lead McKesson Medical-Surgical through the conversion to a new Warehouse Management System (WMS). The Senior Manager will work closely with the VP of WMS Implementation and other functional leaders across the Medical-Surgical organization to lead change management activities for the operational transformation. The position can be located in either our Richmond, VA or Jacksonville, FL office. The individual must operate as a strong team player, leveraging relationships, strong influence management skills, collaboration and business expertise. The Senior Manager will take a consultative approach and act as a key advisor to members of the program leadership team. Communications expertise, meticulous organization skills and responsiveness are key.
The Change Leadership Senior Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, design, and development of change management activities for an enterprise-wide transformation program. This individual contributor role will also be responsible for tracking and integrating change and communications into the overall program plan. Key responsibilities include:
Apply expert knowledge of Change Management to business and growth initiatives and define best solutions to meet unique business requirements
Lead stakeholder management, change planning, change impact analyses and change agent networks for the program, in partnership with external vendors and internal business partners
Build and maintain an integrated project plan tracking the status, risks, issues and action items for change management, communications, IT Business Partners, Operations, and reporting to Business Unit leadership
Oversee change practitioners and collaborate with Ops and IT to ensure a seamless implementation of Business Unit-wide programs through intervention and customization
Keeping current on leading practices, designing change programs (or overseeing vendors who design), evaluating program performance, authoring policies and procedures and monitoring the delivery of these programs as needed
Define requirements for the processes and tools needed to execute and identifies barriers to a successful implementation of change programs/solutions
Align the right structure, cultural context, and practices to drive employee adoption of change
Coach and support WMS workgroups and business leaders on the execution of change initiatives and frameworks
Build and manage a budget for workforce planning, including managing RFPs with consultants

7+ years of proven change leadership experience, preferably in an operations/distribution environment
Business mindset: understands the business and financial conditions, link operations, technology and business strategy, and identify ways to improve business performance.
Change leadership: demonstrates expertise in articulating the business case for change, evaluating change readiness, building and executing stakeholder plans and transition activities, and managing sustained change and transition.
Program Management: demonstrates expertise in driving program management tasks, including building and tracking project plans, status reports, and mitigating business risk by highlighting critical issues to program leadership early.
Visioning/innovation: understands what is happening in the industry and market to raise the bar and push for new and innovative solutions.
Consulting skills: tailors his/her communication style to work well with stakeholders at all levels in the organization; effective at influencing, facilitating, and problem solving; focuses on people and interactions, not just processes and tools.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Significant change leadership experience required
Program management experience required
Experience with supporting enterprise or function transformation efforts in a program management and change management capacity preferred
Experience in a large, complex, matrixed organization preferred
Bachelor's 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
PMP certification preferred
