The IT Business Unit Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Tracks business unit performance against the IT business plan and service level agreements; identifies gaps.
Works on mergers & acquisitions and outsourcing / right placement activities.
Contributes to and / or creates internal communications. Creates and prepares reports, metrics and presentations. Exhibits sound understanding of concepts and principles in own area and a basic knowledge of concepts and principles in other technology areas.
Applies comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business goals.

5-8 years of experience in a technology planning role.
Leadership and developmental skills
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
Own the Production Management & Support capabilities of the Wealth Management Product Suite for Citi
Partner with Business, Operations and Technology teams for production support activities planning, coordination and issue resolution
Provide leadership and guidance to team members
Ability to push an agenda in a matrix environment through influencing and collaboration

Lead, track and drive the progress of the production support deliverables to ensure timely corrective and preventive resolution
Identify, track, escalate and remediate risks in the supported areas
Constantly look for ways to improve the metrics on which the team operates
Conduct production readiness assessment prior to project implementation
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience on a distributed and/or mainframe platforms
Well versed with monitoring tools, change management, problem tracking.
At least 3 year of banking related IT support experience
Good inter-personal skills
Practical trouble-shooting and problem analysis skills
Strong communications with ability to use and understand both tech-lingo as well as business friendly language abilities
Follow, understand and be able to summarize complex technical issues in layman understandable terms
Be able to work in a dynamic environment and willing to take on additional responsibilities
