As part of Busey's Banking Leadership Development Program, participants uniquely experience how specialized, revenue-producing business lines drive value and service excellence for commercial and wealth clients. The unified partnership between Busey's Commercial, Credit and Wealth Management leadership, drives this innovative 24-month curriculum comprised of hands-on training, and leadership development opportunities. While providing exposure to all facets of Busey, this intentionally designed program aims to grow talent that is uniquely equipped to holistically care for expanding customer needs.
Appropriately leverage the knowledge and skills taught through the program's leadership, curriculum, and fellow participants to help drive Busey forward.

Complete training in both commercial/credit and wealth management lines of business including:
Commercial/credit experience offers a structured credit training program, where participants develop an understanding of credit products, lending practices, and financial analysis.
Wealth Management experience offers training in investment analysis, trading and financial planning analysis while understanding core functions of the wealth management sales teams.
Curriculum Rotations: Participants will be introduced to the company's products, services and processes that will foster the skills and knowledge needed to make valuable contributions to our company. Commercial rotations include departments like relationship and treasury management, service support and compliance, loan review and special assets while Wealth Management rotations include wealth and fiduciary advisors, investment and retirement plan services, private client managers and compliance teams. Other department rotations include personal banking and various back-office functions like operations, IT, risk and finance.

Through foundational skills, knowledge, and specialized learning in both the Commercial/Credit and Wealth Management lines of business, program associates serve as 'homegrown' Busey talent who will understand customer needs in both the Commercial and Wealth Management arena in support of Busey's Regional Banking Model.

EDUCATION & TRAINING
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Planning & Services or other business-related graduate.
Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher is preferred
Participation in community or school-based organizations or equivalent work experience
Flexibility to travel within Busey's markets including but not limited to: Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Florida
