As a member of our training team, you will be responsible for supporting the training needs of Card Services, Client Operations, Clients and Associates and others who partner with us to sell and support our products and services directly to FI customers. Our team is focused on improving the Client Experience within Card Services Client Operations. We facilitate this by gathering client feedback and expanding associate expertise through training. The training role will include formal presentations, content development, as well as functioning in a mentoring role to new and seasoned associates. The trainer will be well versed in multiple areas such as Federal Regulations related to payments processing, including Regulation E, MasterCard and Visa payment processing regulations and requirements, ATM/debit card production and processing, FI and terminal settlement, resolving out of balances, and reporting. Each team member is responsible for understanding the nuances associated with the product/services and support provided to our clients. Associates within this group work with multiple Card Services departments throughout the United States as well as associates from the Fiserv Global Services area.
As aClient Training Advisor, you can look forward to:
Creating training content that will be presented to Clients, Associates, and Managers within the Card Services arena
Presenting materials to adult learners at many levels, from entry level employees to senior executives within Fiserv and our Financial Institution Clients
Practicing functional or process leadership; work is complex and ambiguous with tactical responsibilities
Assisting associates in increasing their knowledge via both the Swarming and Knowledge Management programs
Administering training assessments and evaluating the effectiveness of training
Creating, executing and revising projects, programs and plans as needed
Establishing and maintaining internal and external client and internal stakeholder relationships
Providing and supporting project and resource development activities within own department
Keeping abreast of new developments in order to define the necessary changes to policy and practice
Possessing a broad and comprehensive understanding of the different systems/products and services in the market/organization and practices of relevant discipline
Reviewing assessment results and mentoring any associate struggling with a particular topic
Basic qualifications for consideration:
4-year college degree with a focus on Adult Learning
7 yrs + payment industry/customer service experience
5 yrs + experience with training or sales presentations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong customer service skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Computer proficiency with strong MS-Office Suite experience (particularly with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong, professional written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills
Ability to handle various tasks and prioritize effectively
Demonstrable experience taking initiative and solid attention to detail
Ability to work from 8am - 5pm, travel up to 30%, and work extended hours as needed
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Debit card processing and/or banking customer service and/or back office knowledge
Regulation E and/or Network Chargeback processing knowledge
Knowledge of the basic communication model
Previous experience supporting Visa, MasterCard or ATM networks
Computer proficiency with strong MS-Office Suite experience (Access & Sharepoint knowledge preferred) and the ability
