Summary of Duties:
The Department of Accounting in the Carson College of Business (CCB) at Washington State University Vancouver invites applications for a three-year non-tenure-track position at the Teaching Assistant Professor level. We anticipate that this position will start Spring Semester in January 2022, but there is flexibility for a possible Fall Semester start in August 2022.
The successful candidate will be required to teach nine 3-credit courses per academic year, and serve as Advisor to the Beta Alpha Psi Nu Theta Chapter and VITA Club.
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, and Masters in Accounting or Finance, or MBA. Relevant industry and/or teaching experience.
The ideal candidate will have an accounting or finance industry background, provide evidence of teaching effectiveness across multiple courses, such as introductory financial accounting, introductory managerial accounting, tax and/or excel, and demonstrate ability to contribute to the service, equity and diversity mission of the campus.
