The Abbott Customer Experience Ambassador is a key commercial role in the sales organization. In this role you will be responsible for managing and expanding our existing core labs and serology labs accounts, managing and improving customer relationships and improving profitability of accounts. This is a field-based role where you will be working onsite with our clients and build long lasting relationships. You will be responsible for our hospital clients in Innlandet and two additional accounts in the Oslo region and therefore need to be based in this part of the country.
Develop strategic growth plan at the territory level, full revenue responsibility including forecasting and target performance achievement
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data in CRM system
Develop relationships with all internal customer stakeholders (e.g. Lab Director / Manager, Department Supervisors, Procurement, IT Manager, Medical Director)
Act as a trusted partner and advisor as Abbott's main contact to customers by exhibiting and articulating our value proposition and solutions
Manage and drive the development of their accounts by closing menu gaps (adding on assays), selling AlinIQ and upgrading service contracts, and other key activities such as strategic account management and post-sales implementation process
Assess utilization and inefficiencies on instruments and work with customer to maximize testing capabilities
Oversee implementation of new assays and ensuring service delivery
Deliver insights for operational improvement that will positively impact customer KPI's
Analyze test menu and ordering patterns to assess gaps and provide solutions
Prepare and execute regular customer business reviews
Manage routine renewals of base business accounts and negotiate long-term contracts
Oversee progress of cross-functional implementation team (post-sale) with project manager
Bachelor's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical/medical technology or commercial is preferred.
Minimum of 2 - 5 years track record in the diagnostic industry with an emphasis on managing and expanding existing accounts, managing and improving customer relationships and improving profitability of accounts.
Lab experience is advantageously
Strong ability to communicate and engage with customers, Business Management and key stakeholders
Good product and industry knowledge
Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics
Strong solution selling and relationship building skills
Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues
Long-term, strategic focus on account
Fluent spoken and written language skills in Norwegian and English, additional languages are advantageous
Live nearby Oslo or in the Innlandet region or willingness to move is a must
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%
