An individual who joins our team will be responsible for analyzing data from a variety of areas of our business and identifying opportunities that will create a meaningful financial benefit. As a Client P&L Analytics Advisor, you will be responsible for estimating and forecasting client performance in one or many areas (rebates, network, and specialty), providing reporting on existing strategies, and development of new strategies. Youâ™ll be collaborating with and influencing other areas within the company to develop analytic models, methodologies, reports and overseeing medium to large size projects that support various client strategy initiatives. The goal is to improve CVS Caremark client level financial monitoring and controls, enable data-driven strategic decision-making, and identify opportunities for financial improvements.
The Rebate Analytics Advisor willâ¦ â¢ Be responsible for designing, developing and delivering analytic solutions. â¢ Accessing data, constructing and manipulating large datasets to support planned analyses, using SAS, Excel, SQL, and similar tools â¢ Develop tools / dashboards to support, manage and report on various strategies â¢ Coordinate the efforts across company teams that can include Specialty, Retail, Clinical Ops, IT/TI, Product Development, Finance, various departments in Trade and Finance, account teams, and other corporate departments â¢ Managing complex projects related to a wide variety of financial, utilization, and operational business needs.
Open to working remote. Residence near a hub location is a plus.
Required Qualifications â¢ 5-7 years relevant work experience â¢ 5 + yearsâ™ experience in analytics â¢ Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAS or other database software â¢ Experience in Microsoft Excel-based modeling â¢ Experience using business analytics to problem solve data-driven questions â¢ Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets and then using it to draw conclusions â¢ Experience conducting data analyses using basic and advanced skills in statistics and database management â¢ Occasional travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications â¢ Prior experience or knowledge of PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferred â¢ Experience writing macros within VBA â¢ Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups â¢ Extensive experience in a position requiring problem solving, problem analysis and creative solutions skills. â¢ Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and follow up skills. â¢ Ability to interact with others in a collegial and professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks â¢ Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities â¢ Aptitude to communicate complex analytic findings and conclusions in an easy to understand way
Education â¢ Bachelorâ™s degree required; â¢ Degree related to finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, epidemiology, economics or other data related fields preferred.
