Work You'll Do
Our practitioners work in integrated project teams on a range of projects covering the entire lifecycle from planning through to design, development and the deployment of solutions. These project teams will often include leaders and specialists from other business and technical disciplines from within the consulting practice and from our clients. A focus on team work is therefore critical. As a subscription billing solution implementation expert, you will bring considerable billing, invoicing and revenue management expertise to help design, develop and implement subscription billing solutions to transform client's new business models. You will interact daily with key business and IT executives and lead multiple teams in various strategy and implementation activities.
Responsibilities will include:
â¢ Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
â¢ Delivery: Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies. Responsibilities include, among others, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, product simplification and alignment, capability design and planning, technology/vendor selection and planning and business launch readiness
â¢ Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
â¢ People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

â¢ 2+ years of experience at Big 4 firm within subscription billing vendor professional services or industry focused on delivering cloud-based subscription billing solutions (Hi-Tech, Automotive, Med-tech, Telecom)
Strong understanding of lead-to-cash and record-to-report processes and end-to-end architectures
Subscription billing expertise, including understanding of the leading practices and ability to facilitate clients' most complex requirements
â¢ Experience with end-to-end implementations of subscription billing solutions (e.g. Aria Systems, Zuora, Oracle BRM, SAP Hybris, Avangate, GoTransverse)
Understanding of integration principles and methodologies for real-time web-based protocols (REST, SOAP) and batch integration frameworks (SFTP)
Ability to communicate complex system concepts to a business audience in a clear and concise manner
Experience and in-depth understanding of all aspects of the SDLC including Design, Build, QA, UAT and Support
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
A willingness to travel 80 - 100% of the time (Monday - Thursday/Friday)
Experience with architecture assessments and developing roadmaps to implement subscription billing solutions
â¢ Experience with designing and configuring cloud/SaaS billing solutions in complex environments
â¢ Experience designing integrations with upstream (commerce, CPQ) and downstream (revenue, GL, EDW) applications
â¢ Experience identifying workarounds and creative solutions within configurable cloud billing systems or within boundary applications where customization is required
â¢ Experience of managing teams with sizes ranging 5-10 resources
Experience with successfully leading complex engagements, both business and technical, including multiple dependencies and integration points
â¢ Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
â¢ Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
â¢ Eagerness to mentor junior staff
â¢ An advanced degree in the area of specialization
