Program Development Director - Global Project Management Business Sales and Solutions

The ideal candidate will be in San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte or New York. Other locations near a major CBRE office may be considered.
This position will work across global time zones and will need to be flexible with their schedule to meet and accommodate global needs and meetings.
As part of CBRE's Global Project Management Sales and Solutions team, you will partner to create, implement and manage a world class growth strategy, organization and process. This role will help coordinate global project management sales activities, implementing improved goal setting/tracking/reporting, market opportunity identification and sales funnel optimization. You will help identify world-class sales talent, partnering with business leaders to keep an active pipeline of candidates. You will lead the deployment of tools that ensure our proposals exceed quality expectations and business requirements and leverage digital platforms, including Salesforce, to help manage and report on our global pipeline of sales activity. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, problem solving and action oriented. They will excel at program management of large, complex and virtual teams, ensuring deadlines are met and results are excellent. The role will work across time zones to enable a global team, and will frequently participate in, or lead, large scale business efforts that transform our go-to-market strategy.
You will work with a wide array of leaders and be responsible for formulating and implementing the business development strategies based on the strategic directions and targets of the business; lead business development programs and initiatives, be accountable for the deliverables and outcomes, act as a thought partner and advisor to the business lines in their own specific business development activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing/monitoring/reporting of global sales activities, including dashboarding and regular executive business reviews
Supports business leaders with market development strategies, including using data to identify opportunities and optimize sales cycle
Supports the Coordination and governance of sales activity throughout the sales process, including qualification, discovery, proposal, pricing presentation and negotiation.
Manage a global sales program to include: Talent and Team pipeline development and tracking, Commercial governance, Solution and proposal development processes and quality assurance, Salesforce database management, Knowledge sharing and training initiative management
Establishes relationships with key decision-makers across various organizational levels.
Assists in the preparation of the business' marketing and business development budgets.
Evaluates industry and business trends and analyzes performance and responds with necessary business change.
Manages and achieves financial, operational and other measures as defined in deliverables and/or KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) established for the role
Performs other duties as assigned
Manages the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources. Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
