Work you'll do
The Pricing Advisor is the client's first point of contact to solve their pricing needs. You will establish a trusted advisor relationship with clients in your dedicated region and be their strategic thought-partner by proactively identifying tailored pricing opportunities to improve margins. The Pricing Advisor will use a custom-built pricing optimization solution and overlays his/her deep knowledge about the local market to make appropriate recommendations. The Pricing Advisor will be supported by a team of Pricing Analysts, who will create customized reports and analytics to answer the client's questions.
â¢ Build client relationships and be a trusted strategic advisor on how to price menu items
â¢ Understand the methodologies used for price optimization and translate model outputs into insights that clients can understand and apply
â¢ Understand the client's strategy and goals, dissect previous store performance, synthesize past and future local market events to adjust pricing recommendations for the client
â¢ Proactively look out for market trends and activities that may impact pricing and provide timely advice to clients
â¢ Translate client inquiries into analytics requirements
â¢ Periodically visit clients and regional meetings to provide additional pricing support
â¢ Present pricing trends during regional client meetings (2-3x per year)
Hybrid Solutions + Incubation
Our Hybrid Solutions and Incubation team is responsible for developing, managing and operating a suite of data-powered solutions that address our clients' most complex business issues within the Strategy & Analytics space. By combining design thinking with science on a cloud-based platform, we give decision makers at every level of the organization fast, cost-effective access to actionable information.
In addition to developing new IP, the team is responsible for incubating new businesses, specifically focused on As-A-Service businesses; we help these businesses gain market traction and scale them into the broader practice.
Hybrid Solutions and Incubation will help our clients to:
â¢ Achieve fast and actionable insights by accessing a suite of data-powered and industry-tailored accelerators, solutions and products
â¢ Have ongoing access to Deloitte's Strategy & Analytics expertise as we grow our As-A-Service business models
â¢ Uncover new insights to their business using Deloitte data sources that are monetized through the insight derived or the assets that are data powered
â¢ Bachelors in Finance, Economics, Math
â¢ 3+ years in client services and/or pricing advisory
â¢ A strategic thinker who is proactive in providing valuable insights and strong leadership skills
â¢ Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
â¢ Strong analytical capabilities with experience in working with analytical teams and translating outputs into actionable insights
â¢ Willingness to travel in the US (20% of time)
â¢ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
â¢ MBA or Masters in Finance, Economics, Math
â¢ Strong understanding of the restaurant industry (QSR), competitors, and market dynamics
â¢ Experience working in SQL, Alteryx or other data management and Business Intelligence tools
â¢ Experience with predictive modeling in SAS, Python, R or other
