Position Summary - Individual Contributor
The dedicated McKesson Health System (MHS) Enrollment Concierge is a critical role in ensuring that prospective customers are properly enrolled with PBMs/payer networks, confirming successful completion/rejection avoidance while providing ongoing updates during the complex enrollment processes with Health Mart Atlas (HMA) PSAO, ProviderPay (PP) and other services. The concierge is responsible for helping the customers complete all necessary credentialing steps, documents, contract redlines, customer training/onboarding around tools, resources, and introduction to key teams the pharmacy would work with post-implementation.
To do this, the Concierge works closely with the Health System to provide a clear overview of this complex process and nuances (PBM requirement, timing, credentialing differences, etc), and facilitates end-to-end enrollment of all individual locations in alignment with corporate Health System structure and approach, inclusive of negotiating various agreement redlines, completion of all forms and documents (with HMA, AH and individual PBMs/3rd parties), and ensuring each location completes additional action items/requirements if needed. As the process is being completed, the Concierge schedules onboarding calls of selected Health Mart Atlas services, tools and capabilities, ensuring that each location and corporate team members are trained around policies and ongoing operational requirements (i.e. credentialing, effective rates, etc.).
Pre-sale engagement / enrollment prep and structure:
Overviews enrollment process and NCPDP/Credentialing requirements to the pharmacy, to confirm expected timelines can be met or revised if needed.
Discusses HMA and AccessHealth (AH) agreements and business terms/model, along with non-negotiables related to business model and risk levels. Clarify non-negotiable terms and understanding of language rationale.
Responsible for overseeing Contract redlines. Engages legal team as needed to negotiate language and agreement terms and works with the prospect team to create a mutually agreed-to contract.
Structures the enrollment process - discusses organization structure, agreement set up and roles (e.g. signatories, location-specific requirements/work streams, etc). Instructs key stakeholders regarding enrollment status of locations.
Post-sale enrollment completion:
Coordinates all locations' enrollment post Sales - connects with each location and key contacts to provide support and clarity through the duration of the enrollment process.
Walk each location through the enrollment process, including PBM HEAT zones, process, timing (2 weeks - 2 months), including PBMs that will/will not provide updates, etc.
Overviews HMA and AccessHealth (AH) policies / procedures, including effective rates, credentialing and PBM requirements.
Works with customer to complete NCPDP credentialing, including deep-dive into practice/taxonomy, services (immunization, etc.) and NCPDP affiliation change approval - 100% credentialing completion.
Provides individual support to the customer to ensure accurate and complete non-NCPDP paperwork and documents, including performance data access - forms overview and DocuSign walk through, including NCPDP affidavit to change affiliation.
Supports customer change process of NCPDP affiliation to HMA
Solution implementation/onboarding - While NCPDP and PBMs complete enrollment processes, works with each location to train on available services and tools, such as activating Managed Care portal access, banking /payment set up, chain code validation and introductions to key contacts
Discusses chain code options as appropriate to help place the customer on the most appropriate affiliation.
Introductions to key AH/HMA support teams: MRA advisor, Performance advisor, etc.
Conduct HMA 101 training - key purchased services, available reports, Managed Care portal navigation.
Provides PBM enrollment status (complete vs pending), including placement on rural networks, chain code, etc.
If new customer or HEAT zone, follow up after appropriate time to confirm process completion.
Updates the MHS team throughout the enrollment process - partnership with Support Solutions Team.
Warm hand-off to dedicated HMA MHS Managed Care Account Manager/Customer Service representative.
Completes enrollment of any new location in accordance with Health System approach/structure.
Responsible for any contractual revisions or enrollments into additional products to preserve consistency in legal terms and alignment among all customer locations (existing and new additions).
Updates Health System information and each location's profiles / documents to maintain current information across all enrolled locations/NCPDPs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment of information.
5+ years of experience or strategic sourcing, account management, contract negotiations, or procurement or similar experience.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization and follow up skill
Demonstrated negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Relationship management: consultative, collaborative, and client-oriented
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Power Point required
Excellent time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment
