St. Norbert College, a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking a Director of Enterprise Applications. This position provides strategic and operational oversight for the enterprise applications ecosystem and a leadership role in campus-wide digital transformation and lean process management initiatives. Under direction from the Vice President of Information Technology Services/CIO, this position is responsible for directing the enterprise application practice and creating roadmaps for development, implementation, integration, and operation of new and existing enterprise systems and transformational initiatives to support institutional initiatives.
As a member of the Information Technology Services (ITS) Leadership team, this position collaborates with campus leadership to align the ITS strategic initiatives with the institution’s strategic plan, creates an enterprise applications roadmap for the college, and ensures high standards of data integrity and security. The position serves as a champion, advisor, trusted partner and liaison to the college community and provides analysis and recommendations to improve and transform enterprise applications, system integrations, business intelligence, and process improvements.
The position oversees the enterprise application environment including applications, integrations, contracts, upgrades, support and troubleshooting. They also lead the Enterprise Applications team in enabling effective use of enterprise applications and implements techniques and practices to ensure reliable, scalable, and customer-focused operations with a radical emphasis on customer service.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field.
Advanced degree in business or information technology related field preferred.
Minimum of seven (7) years work experience managing and supporting enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, SIS, and HRIS systems.
Minimum of three (3) years work experience managing a technical development team.
Minimum of three (3) years work experience or equivalent education in scoping and managing large scale complex projects including: identifying, analyzing, and documenting requirements; analyzing application features and functions to assess scope and impact on business; conducting workflow, process diagrams, and gap analysis; and writing specifications for conversion or interface programs.
Strong technical knowledge of ERP, SIS, CRM and enterprise reporting systems, client/server software, business intelligence and data warehousing. Specific technical and/or functional experience with Ellucian Banner or Workday a plus.
Strong technical knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Oracle Operating Systems in an enterprise environment.
Strong technical knowledge and tools and languages such as PL/SQL, Java, and Oracle Relational Database Systems.
Ability to scope and manage large-scale complex projects.
Ability to provide strategic direction by identifying actions necessary to achieve task(s) completion and obtain results meeting timelines, quotas, budget, performance goals, etc.
Experience managing contracted services including negotiations, agreements and service delivery.
Professional project management and IT certification or training (PMP, ITIL, etc.) a plus.
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert College.
