Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business and has significant impact across the lifecycle of a Trade. We partner extensively with a range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with our external client base, playing a key role in the overall client experience. We have a Client relationship group dedicated to overseeing the group service performance and strategic partnership for our top tier client base, where we play a key role in supporting our global clients to ensure they have a first class experience when doing business with Citi.
Our Digitization and Implementation group works alongside our Operations teams delivering automation solutions to solve for operational challenges. We partner with Citi's innovation labs to drive optimization and overall play a pivotal role in enabling us to transform to achieve our target operating model.
Our Technology groups develop and implement a wide range of applications that support the Operations, Change, Design and Implementation groups in providing innovative products and solutions. Citi FCX Operations supports the Futures & OTC Clearing and FX Prime Brokerage Business ("FCX") across the clearing, settlement, reconciliation and margining of listed derivatives and FX.
The role is to support mainly OTC Clearing on JSCC, LCH, LME and ICE as well as ETD Clearing. Having knowledge of OTC Delegated Reporting in ASIC, MAS and MAS Nexus would be beneficial.
The candidate must be experience in front to back clearing function, have good risk and controls mindset and familiar with financial markets industry and various products and operations. The candidate also needs to be able to effectively communicate with global front office, client executive, client services, house trader, middle office and recons/controls team.
The candidate must be highly focus on accuracy, vocal, is a good team player and have leadership skillset including the ability to lead offshore and local team members supporting a global follow-the-sun model.
OTC Cleared (Primary Responsibility)
Support OTC Clearing on major CCPS eg JSCC, LCH, LME and ICE
Monitor, investigate and resolve trade rejections
Perform compression on JSCC, LCH, LME and ICE
Perform porting on JSCC, LCH, LME and ICE
Perform backloading on LCH, LME and ICE
Assist in running margin simulations for trade rejections, client porting, client backloading, periodic fire drill and new client onboarding
Assist in all clients' queries including trade related, margins related, credit events notification, onboarding, etc
Experience and exposure in project management including BAU internal systems upgrade, CCP systems upgrade and new initiatives
Exchange Traded Derivative (ETD) Experience (would be beneficial)
Experience in ETD clearing on APAC Exchanges including SFE, OSE, HKFE and SGX
Management of T+1 exceptions including suspense and client query management
Preparation of MIS as required
Follow-up and escalation of IT outages to minimize client impact and repeat issues
Participation in UAT and system rollout as required
OTC Cleared Delegated Reporting Knowledge (would be beneficial)
Knowledge of ASIC, MAS and MAS Nexus regulatory delegated reporting
Assist in upcoming Consultation Paper and provide feedback
Assist in investigating issues related to regulatory delegated reporting and work closely with Tech partners to resolve the issue
Experience and Exposure to projects
Qualifications and Skills:
BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
7 to 10+ years of experience in OTC / Futures clearing business in Global organisation.
Understanding of OTC Cleared products and CCP clearing systems are a pre-requisite.
Delegated Reporting experience and ETD experience would be beneficial.
