Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, AFT position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Note: This position is in the “NL” category of employment (non-fixed work week) An AFT- NL professional staff member or librarian who is required to work beyond 35 hours shall be compensated through compensatory time off. Compensatory time shall be earned for hours worked beyond the normal work week, or on an employee’s regular day off, if requested and approved by their supervisor.

Under the direction of the Associate Director of the Cahill Career Development Center, the Pathways/Career Center Tech & Data Analyst will manage technology and data for the Career Center and Pathways Program. The Pathways/Career Center Tech & Data Analyst will work career advisors, faculty and staff in this role to ensure the collection, analysis of data and reporting of outcomes supports and informs program development and initiatives specific to Pathways and the Career Center. This is a 12 month, full time, partially grant-funded position.
Manage technology initiatives: Handshake, Big Interview, VMock, website and subscriptions.
Lead technology support and manage users/user roles for staff members.
Investigate technology to scale career services, assist with strategic rationales on new systems, and manage implementation of new/upgraded software.
Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with IT, Registrar and CSS.
Coordinate data collection systems to develop databases and analytics to report statistics, student outcomes (FDS) and program assessment (Pathways Courses).
Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports.
Interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to recommend process improvement opportunities.
Manage First Destination Survey data collection and reporting via Handshake.
Supervise Pathways Graduate Assistant.
Manage facilitators and schedule Focus 2 review sessions.
Conduct LinkedIn Profile reviews and provide student feedback for ASB and SSHS.
Other related duties as assigned.
Graduation from an accredited college with a Master’s degree is required
Two year’s professional experience in an institution of higher education, education or other field that is directly related to the functions of the position to be filled or equivalency as determined by the appointing authority.
