The College of Medicine, Graduate Medicine Education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center invites applications for an Assistant Dean for Program Improvement (Memphis, TN).
This position will work with programs that are on probation, accreditation with warning, or had a negative resident survey.
Will meet as necessary, but at least monthly, with program directors to verify issues, offer solutions, and monitor improvement plans.
Will meet as necessary with residents, fellows, faculty, and chairs to verify concerns and corrective actions.
Will meet biweekly with the Assistant and Associate Dean of GME to provide updates and recommendations regarding programs being monitored.
May be asked to assist with internal or special reviews.
Under the direction of the DIO, will assist with the implementation of program improvement strategies.
