The MPH Program Administrative Coordinator for Advising coordinates advising activities within the MPH Program including maintaining progress reports, organizing student progress meetings, speaking with students about standard MPH program requirements, and providing administrative support for MPH Core Advising sessions. In addition, this position is responsible for coordinating the standard MPH program curriculum, staffing the MPH curriculum committee, and monitoring the MPH concentrations. This position also provides other academic and administrative support as needed and helps plan and execute the MPH program orientation.Â

Coordinate with MPH Assistant Director to resolve issues related to billing â¢Â Â Â Advise standard MPH students on course requirements â¢Â Â Â Provide administrative support for MPH Core advising sessions
Coordinate Standard MPH Program Curriculum Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 30% Â Supporting Actions:Â â¢Â Â Â Act as a voting member on the MPH Curriculum Committee, planning agendas, organizing meetings, planning academic program changes, and following up on committee activities â¢Â Â Â Monitor 7 + Academic concentrations within the MPH Program to make sure appropriate courses are being offered, maintaining requirements on website, and advising students on specific track requirements
Academic and other administrative support Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 30% Â Supporting Actions: â¢Â Â Â Assist with admissions process as needed such as communication with admitted students â¢Â Â Â Maintain email distribution lists. â¢Â Â Â Communicates with guests, makes room reservations, orders food, requests audio visual equipment, publicizes events, and maintains web resources. â¢Â Â Â Works with internal department to support event logistics. â¢Â Â Â Oversee the coordination of high-level activities including logistics.Â
Orientation Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 10% Supporting Actions:Â â¢Â Â Â Help plan and execute the MPH Program Orientation â¢Â Â Â Participate in planning SPH Orientation
Dimensions â¢Â Â Â Provides administrative support of 100+ MPH students (soon to be 180+). â¢Â Â Â Provides administrative coordination for 7+ Academic Concentrations â¢Â Â Â Coordinates Core advising sessions with 15+ faculty members.
Job QualificationsÂ Education and experience â¢Â Â Â Associates degree plus at least 3 years of administrative experience, or equivalent combination of skills and experience. â¢Â Â Â Experience in a university setting, preferred.
