JOB DESCRIPTION: Therapists reports to the Clinical Director or his/her Designee. The Therapist’s primary responsibility is to provide individual and group therapy to adolescent patients. Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
Adolescent Therapist has the following responsibilities and duties:
Provide faith-based family therapy.
Provide trauma-based or assorted specialized therapy techniques.
Facilitate group therapy with a focus on evidence-based techniques.
Write and log case notes for each individual and group session for each assigned patient.
Participate in treatment team, reporting on assigned patients.
Collaborate with Honey Lake staff to create an educational and supportive milieu.
Other duties as assigned.
Adolescent Therapist should have the following skills, education, and experience:
Masters or doctorate in mental health counseling (Psychology, MHC, MSW, MFT). Other graduate degrees that lead to MHC licensure are acceptable.
Licensure is strongly preferred.
Experience with adolescent psychiatric populations is preferred.
Meet criminal background check and drug screening per state requirements.
