Under general supervision of the Imaging Services Scheduling Manager, responsible for scheduling procedures/examinations for MRI, CT, Diagnostic, Breast Imaging, and Ultrasound. Responsible and accountable for key activities associated with the Imaging Services scheduling systems (RIS, and EPIC). Serves as a liaison for external and internal clinical contacts. Operates a multi-line phone system and provides excellent customer service to patients and clinical staff. Responsible for screening patients over the phone, and performing other related functions as required.
Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
Three (3) years of related experience with scheduling imaging exams/procedures or coordinating imaging exams/procedures through a multi-specialty service (e.g. Oncology or Surgery); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Medical terminology training and/or certificate.
Excellent customer service and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work effectively and equitably in a team environment.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
