The Administrative Director will oversee the operations and advance the strategy and goals of the Technology, Culture and Society department. The Administrative Director is responsible for the direction and coordination of all activities pertaining to the administration of the department, including but not limited to (i) supervision, operations, and administration of TCS programs (ii) preparation of financial and administrative reports (iii) overseeing and coordinating with Graduate Academics, Records and Registration, and Graduate Admissions regarding all activities and issues related to the department, and (iv) providing technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions regarding B.S. program goals, and policy interpretation. The Administrative Director will also serve as the Senior Academic Advisor in the department, who will continue to advise B.S. students on program requirements, course selection, academic planning, and CPT/OPT compliance.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Required Experience: 5+ years academic administration experience
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to supervise personnel, to take initiative and plan and run department activities, working with faculty and staff. MS Word and Excel.
