About Perinatal Associates of San Antonio
Perinatal Associates of San Antonio opened its doors in 2000. Our practice’s goal was to help patients with chronic health conditions, challenging pregnancies, and complex fertility issues to have successful, healthy pregnancies. Since then, we have undergone tremendous growth. We continue to establish lasting relationships with doctors and patients throughout the San Antonio and surrounding areas. Many women feel relaxed and comfortable in the care of our team. We are blessed to say that, not unlike the families of our many satisfied patients, our practice’s family is growing every day.
We offer specialized services in both clinical genetics and maternal-fetal medicine. Maternal-fetal medicine is the treatment and care for patients with pregnancies that, for any reason, have needs and conditions that extend beyond routine obstetric care. Some have chronic health conditions which complicate their pregnancies, and need to be carefully monitored and treated in a way that is safe for both the patient and her growing pregnancy. Some have babies with growth problems or abnormalities that require extra monitoring, preparation, and support in the days leading up to and following birth.... Whatever the case, such patients are referred by their obstetricians and midwives to our highly trained and passionate team, which is dedicated to providing healthy outcomes for mother and baby.
The miracle of building a family is profound, and we find nothing to be so rewarding as playing a part in bringing miracles into the lives of our patients.
