The IT Business Office provides human resources, administration, and financial support to ITS staff and management as well as billing customer service to the campus community. It consists of several units - Human Resources & Administration, Finance, IT Procurement, and Inventory Management.
Under the direction of the Director of Finance, responsible for operational duties in the Telecommunications Storehouse. Duties include receive, store and issue stock and non-stock materials and supplies worth in excess of $500,000. Additionally, assist in other areas such as: purchasing, installation and repair, telephony maintenance operations, surplus sales, equipment management, and switch/router configuration support.
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Must be able to work overtime, if required.
In-depth knowledge of inventory control management.
Proven skill in repackaging a variety of materials in accordance with accepted storehouse procedures.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures in a warehouse/ storeroom setting; Knowledge of purchase orders, packing slips, requisitions and other internal forms.
Skill in coordinating activities, organizing, setting priorities and delegating tasks.
Ability to be flexible and work effectively in an environment of irregular pressures, changing priorities, deadlines and various personalities.
Skill in negotiating with vendors.
Ability to analyze financial data and computer generated information.
Skill in following detailed oral and written instructions. Excellent skill in detailed management.
