The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Specialist coordinates the ATMOS program which includes events, activities, and support structures designed to recruit, retain, and graduate members of traditionally underrepresented populations into all School of Business undergraduate concentrations. The person in this position works closely with faculty, advisors, students, employers, and community-based organizations to support all aspects of the diverse students' experience from recruitment through to job preparedness and placement. This person works directly with undergraduate students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds, providing support, coaching, and mentoring.
With the School of Business Diversity Committee and the undergraduate programs team, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Specialist collaborates with faculty and staff within the School of Business and outside of the department to create a more supportive and welcoming environment for diverse School of Business students.
This is a 12 month position. This position reports to the Executive Director of Undergraduate Programs.

BA/BS with 3+ years of related experience.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Master's degree with 1+ year of related experience.
Demonstrated excellence working with communities of color and underrepresented populations.
Demonstrated interest in advancing equity initiatives.
Ability to work collaboratively and under limited time pressures with colleagues.
Experience providing coaching, counseling, mentoring or advising to students.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Google Suite.
