Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
â€¢Manage transactional support team of 6-8 people, assist in various group tasks as needed. â€¢Understand, manage and improve transaction-related processes. â€¢Assist in transaction closings and documentation for PIMCOâ€™s alternative funds â€¢Assist in preparing regulatory filings, including fund registration statements â€¢Process transaction, fund formation and entity related certificates, engagement letters, forms and other related documentation â€¢Coordinate responses to various information requests, including regulatory and client requests â€¢Preparation and organization of board materials â€¢Production of documents related to account openings in different jurisdictions â€¢Maintain records and databases of regulatory and legal matters â€¢Assist with compliance related chaperon tasks, logs, lists and trackers â€¢Assist with miscellaneous special projects as they are assigned â€¢Attend various committee meetings and prepare meeting minutes â€¢Effectively liaise with various relevant departments and groups including portfolio management, legal, compliance, finance, operations and outside counsel â€¢Miscellaneous tasks including timesheet review, track document volume, and ensuring adequate desk coverage
â€¢Bachelorâ€™s Degree (required) â€¢Paralegal Certificate (preferred) â€¢JD (preferred) â€¢At least 5 years of law firm/in-house legal or paralegal experience â€¢Very detailed oriented â€¢Very strong interpersonal skills â€¢Team player â€¢Ability to multi-task â€¢Possess exceptional oral, written and organizational skills â€¢Must be able to work independently on complex tasks â€¢Possess the ability and comfort to interact with all levels of management â€¢Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel desired
