The Associate Director of Enrollment Systems oversees the Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions CRM, Slate, and works to continuously optimize the tool in order to enhance the college’s recruitment process and prospective student engagement level. That work includes portal build out and maintenance, troubleshooting, providing support and training to the staff, and offering access as needed to other internal stakeholders on campus. The Associate Director works closely with the Director of Enrollment Operations, the Communications Strategist, the Marketing and Communications department and any outside vendors to collaboratively develop lead generation campaigns and prospect communication campaigns and implement these through the Admissions CRM. The Associate Director also regularly reviews data integration and translation from the CRM to Banner, Tableau and other university and divisional platforms. The Associate Director utilizes industry best practices in student recruitment, and monitors counselor key metrics such as programmatic conversion rates, time to apply, prospect engagement rates, etc. The person in this role is responsible for monitoring the function and advanced utilization of the CRM and data collection and distribution through reporting and data integrations. To best inform the actions of the Director of Operations, and the Marketing and Communications department, the Associate Director identifies and flags trends in prospect data reports and admissions funnels. This position serves as a point of contact for Technology Services, the Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid and Institutional Effectiveness surrounding data integrity. This position works closely with colleagues in Academic Affairs, Student Services, DEI, and other internal stakeholders in support of enrollment and retention practices. To deliver the highest quality student experience, the Associate Director collaboratively develops and implements digital admissions to advise hand-offs and transfer credit evaluation processes. As a member of the Enrollment team, the Associate Director participates in internal and external events, meetings, and professional gatherings, contributes ideas, and collaborates with both internal and external constituencies. A willingness to stay abreast of and recommend the application of new modes of technology is essential.
Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years of experience focused on admissions communications and marketing in a higher education setting or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Prior experience implementing and managing a Customer Relationship Management tool (Slate strongly preferred) and familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Banner) and data visualization tools (including Tableau).
Experience managing, tracking and assessing promotional campaigns in the CRM and/or other digital platforms.
Track record of being a self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative, exercise good judgment and work autonomously.
Must have excellent public speaking, written, and verbal skills to support relationship building with divisional staff and other internal and external constituents.
