Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) seeks a dedicated and experienced Dual Enrollment Coordinator to manage the PVCC Dual Enrollment (DE) Program. The program serves approximately 2,000 students each year who take PVCC college classes in their local high schools as part of their school day. The program allows greater college access to students in this diverse region, many of whom are underrepresented in higher education, and allows them to do so in a convenient and supportive environment. The DE Coordinator will work closely with the partnering high schools to provide high-quality dual enrollment courses and oversee the administrative duties required for program success. Duties and Responsibilities: The Dual Enrollment Coordinator will have a comprehensive knowledge of all college policies and procedures, including the application, enrollment, placement, and orientation processes for dual-enrolled students and will also understand the administrative procedures for creating and maintaining courses in the PVCC Student Information System (SIS). Specific responsibilities and functions include: * Provide programmatic support service for dual enrollment courses and the Early College (EC) Program. * Coordinate with PVCC Academic Deans, full-time faculty liaisons and high school administration on the DE course offerings and create and maintain DE courses in the SIS. * Work with high schools to develop DE rosters and enroll students into DE classes. * Provide clear and consistent communications, letters, brochures, and other marketing materials to promote dual enrollment program. * Manage DE contracts, DE permission forms, and documents involving high schools, students, and faculty. * Handle all administrative data entry into the PeopleSoft system and all record keeping of course offerings, rosters, student qualification data, and grades for dual enrollment courses. * Serve as the liaison between the local high schools and PVCC administration, academic divisions, student services, and marketing/outreach and build relationships with key stakeholders. * Support the Early College programs at the participating high schools, including onboarding EC students, connecting EC students to advising services, and coordinating with the PVCC registrar on EC graduation. * Manage the DE billing and reimbursement process each semester. * Work with academic deans and academic advisors to provide DE orientations to both DE students and DE instructors annually and participate in DE informational events at the high schools as needed. * Participate in high school registration events. * Participate in high school recruitment events (ex. college nights)
