Provide advanced professional administrative and coordination of all phases of a complex program, department, function or unit.
Honors College Programming and Events: Plan registration rewards events, senior dinner, welcome event, learning community events. Staff advisor to Honors College Student Organizations: Honors College Council, Student Programming Board, Veneration staff. Encourage student participation in on-campus events. Honors College Scholarships Chair: Oversee all aspects of the scholarship process. Honors College Student Communications: Responsible for Veneration newsletter, This Week in Honors (emails), maintain social media presence and accounts, and keeping students up-to-date on all events. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree. Three to five (3-5) years of higher education experience and working with college students in a professional staff position. Advanced skill with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills. Time management and detailed organizational skills.
Master's degree in higher education administration, student development or other recognized academic discipline and two to four (2-4) years experience in a professional staff position
