What you’ll be doing...
Drive Channel Sales for the Public Sector through one or more of the Technology verticals (Network (Data & Voice), CPE, Security (Cyber & Network), Digital/Emerging Technologies, Wireless/Mobility & 5G/MEC). Grow technical partnership; drive revenue across domains in a sell-with/sell-through motion. Develop strategies to collaborate with technical partners to deliver mission-enabling solutions to government; expand go-to-market strategies. Position Verizon as a thought leader on key technological developments. Research & analyze various industry disruptors and help drive leading edge technology and solutions for the Public Sector through Alliances.
Help Sales and BD team with support on deals/ opportunities and ensure that the partner ecosystem is positioned to win and support work across Verizon’s geographically-dispersed customer base.
Build, operationalize, scale and grow Channel revenue.
Enable a channel partner strategy that delivers rapid deployment of solutions through availability of streamlined procurement vehicles.
Achieve sales & revenue growth through sell-with and sell-through motion.
Co-Create & Co-Develop solutions with Technical Partners.
Enable offerings that aligns with customer needs and market trends.
Conduct joint pipeline development sessions.
Collaborate in accounts where both Partner and VZ can grow shared wallet.
Work closely with Product/ SA's and align Partner capabilities to Verizon offerings.
Articulate Verizon’s solutions, value proposition, differentiators, and win themes for domain in compelling stories, presentations, and proposals.
Expand professional/ technical skills based on market needs through Verizon offered training or industry recognized program and maximize value to deliver quality services to our clients.
Develop strategic relationships with technical partners, like OEMs, to build out our offerings and drive growth.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Public Sector experience, in understanding how agencies operate and the specific needs and challenges.
Product development lifecycle- Partner selection, Govt contracts, pricing experience including progressive practices and processes.
Willingness to travel.
Valid driver's license.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Strong client relationship skills, with ability to cultivate trust-based relationships at the senior executive level to become a trusted advisor.
Experience working with Public Sector clients.
Industry certification the respective technology/ field.
Experience in presenting and delivering Joint solutions/ Value proposition with technology drivers.
Ability to conduct analysis and research on public sector Technology trends.
